Whether you’re learning for the first time or refreshing familiar skills, this hands-on session builds practical outdoor confidence you can use right away.

Beauty may be in the eye of the beholder, but it's hard to deny the beauty of wildflowers. Come to the Day Use Beach and get up close and personal with these tiny wonders - examine their colours, count their petals, and admire their shapes. Take your time, breathe in the fresh air, and let their beauty spark your creativity. Record and celebrate your discoveries in the nature journal provided. All ages are welcome, though children will need support from an adult.

Dive into the wonders of aquatic life! Grab a net and explore alongside Discovery staff as you search for creatures big and small. From tiny fairy shrimp to majestic Great Blue Herons, every discovery is worth celebrating. Don’t forget to record your findings in your nature journal! All ages are welcome. Location: Boat Launch.

For safety reasons, nets will only be given to adults, who will be responsible for supervising their use.
