Park Notice
McRae Pt provides ideal habitat for the Canada Goose. The Day Use Area and other grassed areas of the park are regularly used by these animals for foraging. Park Staff take measures to discourage and clean up in response to their presence. Recreational Water testing is conducted regularly and as per legislation. Any alert that results from that testing is updated immediately. Adverse test results from the swimming area are not common but do occur periodically.
Beach Postings
A "posting" is an indication of elevated bacteria levels in the water, not intended as an indication of operational status.
