Barrier Free
Ivanhoe Lake offers two barrier-free campsites (15 and 16). Each barrier-free campsite has electrical hookups, a wheelchair-friendly picnic table, an adaptive firepit, and is near the limited accessibility Red Pine Comfort Station. These sites also provide a beautiful view of Ivanhoe Lake and easy access to the paved roadway. There is an accessible water wheelchair available to rent, free of charge on a first-come first-serve basis from the Park Store.
Boat Launch(es)
The Ivanhoe Lake boat launch is located in La Baie campground. The Saw Lake boat launch is found in the back loop however gas motors are prohibited here.
Comfort Station(s)
There are two comfort stations with showers and flush toilets. One is located directly between our two electrical campgrounds and the other is located in the White Birch Hill campground.
Day Use
The day use or Red Pine beach (no lifeguards) are popular areas with picnic tables and benches available. You can also pack a picnic basket and head to the shady Saw Lake picnic area located in the back loop.
Obtain your daily vehicle permit up to five days in advance at this park.

Flush Toilets
Flush toilets are found in both comfort stations also in the day use washroom facilities.
Laundromat
A coined laundry facility is located in back of the Red Pine comfort station. Laundry detergent is available at the gatehouse.
Park Store
The park store and gatehouse are found in one convenient location as you enter the park. The store provides you with rentals, souvenirs, a variety of park merchandise and some camper supplies.
Services such as gasoline and groceries are available in the town of Foleyet approximately 15 minutes east of the park or the city of Timmins approximately 1.5hrs east of the park.
Pet Exercise Area(s)
The pet exercise and beach area is located beside the fish cleaning hut.
Rentals
Canoes, kayaks and stand-up paddle boards can be rented from the park store.
Motorboats with 9.9 HP outboard motors are available for rent. Federal Regulation require us to ask for either proof of Operator Competency or we are required to complete a “Dockside Rental Checklist”, which is valid for the duration of the rental period. These boat and motor packages go fast, so please call 1-705-864-3137 to reserve.
An accessible water wheelchair is available to rent free of charge.
Ivanhoe is a participant in the PFD Lending Program and TackleShare.
Trailer Storage
If you are planning a return trip and wish to leave your trailer and/or boat behind for easy convenience, fees and arrangements can be made at the gatehouse. Summer and winter storage is also available.
Visitor Centre
The Visitor Centre is located at the end of La Baie campground. Here you can learn about the Boreal Forest and the wildlife that lives here, along with the sensitivity and significance of park values that Ivanhoe Lake protects. The centre hosts drop-in activities throughout the summer. Please inquire about activities and access at the Park Store.
