Park Notice
Blue-green algae (BGA) is a naturally occurring organism found in many water bodies including Ivanhoe Lake. If a BGA bloom is confirmed and affects the Ivanhoe Lake Provincial Park swimming area, Ontario Parks will work with partner agencies to issue advisories and alerts to help inform the public.
Visitors are encouraged to familiarize themselves with information about blue-green algae and follow recommended precautions.

A "posting" is an indication of elevated bacteria levels in the water, not intended as an indication of operational status.
