What You'll Like:
Wenebegon River Provincial Park includes a series of unusually large wetlands, often referred to as peatlands, in the northern portion of the park. The park includes portions of both the Little Wenebegon River and the Wenebegon River valleys. The Little Wenebegon River flows between the peatland in the north of the park to Lake Wenebegon. The Wenebegon River flows into Lake Wenebegon and continues south to Aubrey Falls Provincial Park. The Wenebegon River offers both flat water and white water experiences.
Amenities and Activities: There are no facilities at this park, activities range from high-intensity day-use to low-intensity wilderness experiences
Location: The northern part of the park is approximately 20 kilometres south of Chapleau while the southern portion is approximately 93 kilometres south of Chapleau. Five Mile Lake Provincial Park is adjacent to the western edge on the northern part of Wenebegon River Provincial Park. The southern tip of the park is adjacent to Aubrey Falls Provincial Park.
