How can an old farm field turn into an oasis for uncommon species? Join us at 2300 Klondike Park Road for a guided hike of Sage’s farm, former farmland turned restoration site, and learn about the history of the property and the wildflowers that call this place home.
This weather-dependent program welcomes all ages and will be approximately 1 hour as we walk through grassland and forest habitat on a packed grass and dirt trail. Please bring appropriate attire and footwear as ticks may be present and trails may be wet due to spring conditions.

Join our park naturalists for an evening at the Nordic and Trail Centre and learn all about the hidden world of moths! Throughout the evening, visitors will be introduced to the basics of moth identification including the use of a light sheet, digital identification tools and field guides.
Stay for a little, or stay for a while! This all-ages program is beginner friendly and requires no prior knowledge. You may bring your own camera, flashlight, or field guide but is not necessary for participation. Please bring appropriate attire and check our social media and events page on our website for updates as this is a weather-dependent program.
