Join Indigenous naturalist and guest speaker Cameron George for a medicinal walk on the Riverside Trail. Walk along Pinery's Old Ausable Channel and learn about the medicinal and cultural importance of White Cedar trees and other sacred plants for First Nations people.

Feeling artistically inspired by your visit to Pinery? Regardless of skill level, you’re welcome to join a Park Naturalist at the Chalet to dabble in creating a landscape painting inspired by Pinery’s beautiful scenery. Watercolour paints and supplies are provided. Please note: this program is intended for adults.

Did you know that there’s life after death in the forest? Many creatures, big and small, depend on dead trees for habitat and food. Join a Park Naturalist at the Visitor Centre to find out which of Pinery’s creatures rely on dead wood, how they use it, and the evidence they leave behind. A game and outdoor activity following story time will show you how to be a forest detective! This program is intended for younger audiences, although all are welcome.
