Come and enjoy an outdoor concert! Gates open at 6:00pm and admission is free but donations for CHEO and West Carleton Disaster Relief will be collected at the entrance. A local youth group is hosting a BBQ at 6:00pm as well. Bring your lawn chairs. This week's band is Ambush!

When kids feel confident helping, camping becomes more fun for everyone. This program introduces young campers to basic camping skills like tent setup, campfire awareness, and caring for the campsite. Explore what it means to be a thoughtful and capable camper in a fun, supportive environment.

A safe, well-built campfire can be one of the highlights of a camping trip. Visit this program to learn the basics of building, lighting, maintaining, and properly extinguishing a campfire. Discovery staff will share practical tips that help keep fires enjoyable while protecting people, campsites, and the surrounding environment.

In this authentic Indigenous workshop, participants learn about and make their own medicine bag, a sacred item used by Indigenous peoples for thousands of years to store tokens of personal and spiritual significance. Advance sign-up is required for this program, and seats are limited. Please email Kaitlyn.Smale@ontario.ca to reserve your spot. Spectators are welcome!

Fascinated about birds? Want to see a bird of prey up close? Then the Avian Ambassador Program is for you. The Ottawa Valley Wild Bird Care Centre is visiting Fitzroy Provincial Park to deliver an amazing program that dives deep into the world of birds. You will have the opportunity to meet Kato, the American Kestrel, and dissect a real owl pellet!

It's clear that nature is beneficial for both our mental and physical health. Take a moment to be mindful of the feelings nature inspires. Tune into your senses as you follow the prompts on this self-guided hike. Record and celebrate your observations in the nature journal provided. All ages are welcome, though children will need support from an adult. Hike Length: 1.6 km.

Come to the park and view dozens of vintage vehicles in our Maples day use area! Admission to the show is free in exchange for donations to the Arnprior Special Olympics. A day use reservation is required to use any other area of the park.
