Put your "art eyes" on and join us in seeking out and celebrating nature’s beauty. Use the frames provided to focus your attention - zoom in on a leaf or zoom out on a landscape -and then paint what you see. Nature’s beauty knows no limits! All ages are welcome, and no watercolour experience is necessary.

Location: Day Use Area
Children under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult.

In this authentic Indigenous workshop, participants learn about and make their own medicine bag, a sacred item used by Indigenous peoples for thousands of years to store tokens of personal and spiritual significance. Advance sign-up is required for this program, and seats are limited. Please email Kaitlyn.Smale@ontario.ca to reserve your spot. Spectators are welcome!

Fascinated about birds? Want to see a bird of prey up close? Then the Avian Ambassador Program is for you. The Ottawa Valley Wild Bird Care Centre is visiting Fitzroy Provincial Park to deliver an amazing program that dives deep into the world of birds. You will have the opportunity to meet Kato, the American Kestrel, and dissect a real owl pellet!

Come to the park and view dozens of vintage vehicles in our Maples day use area! Admission to the show is free in exchange for donations to the Arnprior Special Olympics. A day use reservation is required to use any other area of the park.
