Tallow Rock Bay Trail – Slim Bay Bridge Removal & Closure
The Slim Bay Bridge on the Tallow Rock Bay east trail was badly damaged over the winter and has now been removed from service.
The bridge will not be in place for the remainder of the 2026 operating season.
As there is no longer a bridge, the 10 km loop on the Tallow Rock Bay Trail is no longer available.
Interior campers travelling to Slim Bay campsites will now have a 7 km hike to access the sites. Sites are still accessible by water; however, motorboats are not permitted in Slim Bay.
Interior campers travelling to the Hidden Cove site will have a 6 km hike to access the site.
