Calling all beginner birders! Want to learn the basics of birding? Borrow a pair of binoculars to practice finding our feathered friends with amateur birder, Nicole. Meet at the Main Gate for an hour-long hike on Granite Ridge Trail, with another 30 minutes needed to finish the trail.

As fall colours peak, join our Discovery Team for a free watercolour painting workshop at the peak of The Crack trail. Use the provided Beam Paints watercolour kits to create your own seasonal mas-terpiece. No prior painting experience is necessary. Meet at the top of The Crack trail at 11am with everything you need to comfortably hike this challenging 8km trail, including water, a lunch, and sturdy hiking shoes. Plan for two hours to reach the summit. Please pre-register at the park office. Don’t forget to book your parking pass for the trail at the office or online.
