Airfield Ski Trail is a flat, easy trail that encircles Algonquin’s old Airfield. The trail is 2.2 km and is groomed and track set for both classic and skate skiing. The large open area visits the edge of the Madawaska River and Lake of Two Rivers. Trail is accessed from the Mew Lake Campground, km 30.
Minnesing Wilderness Ski Trail is a backcountry wilderness ski trail and is not groomed. The trail features three loops ranging in distance from 4.7 km to 18 km. Wide touring skis and large basket poles are essential for soft snow conditions. A privy is located in the parking lot and on each loop of the trail. Trail is accessed at km 23.2.
Old Railway Bike Trail is a multi-use trail available for skiing, snowshoeing, walking, bird watching, and winter biking. Approximately 16 km of the trail is groomed from Cache Lake to Rock Lake, and it is rated as easy. Access to the trail is through the parking lot at Mew Lake Campground, km 30.
Sunday Lake Trail is a 36 km groomed, multi-purpose trail for snowshoeing, dogsledding, and skijoring. The trail features multiple stacked loops and visits hardwood forest and the edges of wetlands. The trail is accessed at the Trailer Sanitary Station, km 35.6

Snowshoers can go anywhere in the park except groomed ski trails. Snowshoers can also follow along an existing trail such as the short walking trails along Highway 60 or one of the two longer backpacking trails; Western Uplands Trail (located at km 3) and the Highland Trail (located at km 29.7).
