DESCRIPTION:Join our park naturalists on International Bat Night for an evening at Craigleith Provincial Park and learn all about the secret world of bats! Throughout the evening\, visitors will be introduced to some of Ontario’s bat species and have the chance to see a bat echometer in use—a sound monitoring tool used in bat research that allows you to listen to and identify bats in real time!\n \nThis all-ages program is beginner friendly and requires no prior knowledge. Please meet Park staff at Craigleith Park Office/Park Store at 8:30pm. Staff will lead a short walk around the park before spending the remainder of the program on-site for further discussion about Ontario’s 8 awesome bat species!\n \nPlease wear weather-appropriate attire and closely monitor our social media (@wasagabeachpp) for last-minute cancellations and updates as this program is reliant on clear skies.
