Resource Trail 3km
(45 minutes)
This trail meanders along the Boyne River taking the visitor through
a variety of marsh areas and a mature hardwood stand. Interpretive
panels located along the trail highlight some of the ecologically
interesting areas.
Lookout Trail 5
km (1.5 hours) moderate
This trail climbs steadily uphill on what was once the shoreline
of glacial Lake Algonquin. A lookout platform and panoramic view
of the park and surrounding landscape awaits you at the top.
Fletcher's Pond Trail 2
km (20 minutes) easy
This paved, barrier-free trail travels from the reservoir by the
dam through the main day use area of the park and ends at the pool
located in Westbeach.
Little Trail 1km (10
minutes) easy
This scenic trail follows the south shore of the reservoir leading
from the Dam to Westbeach.
Rainbow Run Trail – 11km (2-3 hours hike) moderate, bike friendly
Rainbow run is an 11-kilometre shared-use trail. Rainbow Run connects
all park trails and all park facilities without using roadways. You can walk,
hike, or bike from the campgrounds to the pool, beach, park store, resource
centre and park office, or find solitude and your favourite fishing spot.
